Organ Recital

Hans U. Hielscher, organist at Marktkirche in Wiesbaden, Germany, offers a recital of exciting music on the Conrad Memorial Organ (Létourneau Op. 118) at the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland. Repertoire features works by Christopher Tambling, Frank Bridge, Lester Groom, Charles Callahan, Gordon B. Nevin, Dan Miller, and Cor Kee. Hielscher is an international recitalist, having presented nearly 4,000 recitals around the globe, he is the recipient of multiple awards and honors, and he is a published composer of some 60 works for organ. The recital is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken to support the artist.
