Ongoing Faith Formation: Bible Study (lectionary based)

Bible Study meets on the second and fourth Sundays of every month from 1:30 – 2:45 pm, beginning on Sunday, September 25, 2011. This is an ongoing class and we welcome new participants. No registration is needed.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, which is better known as RCIA, is a process designed for three different groups of people:

  • Adults who are not baptized and would like to join the Catholic Church
  • Adults who were baptized as children into the Catholic faith, but who have not completed their initiation in the Church because they have not celebrated their First Holy Communion/Sacrament of Confirmation
  • Adults who have been validly baptized in another Christian denomination and who now want to be received in the Catholic Church

Those inquiring about the sacraments of initiation and those preparing for full communion meet every Sunday from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, beginning August 28, 2011. While classes do not start until August, we invite you to visit the Cathedral of Light to attend a mass or participate in a docent led tour.  Please refer to The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Form for details.  Registrations are available June – August.
